When "Next Lifetime" becomes "This Lifetime."

Starr's POV:

Deven and I met at a summer cookout and, surprisingly, we ended up becoming coworkers a few months after. Let Deven tell it, it was love at first sight for him, when he saw me in my yellow 'sundress' which was actually a jumpsuit, by the way. LoL! I didn't really pay him any mind at the time, but little did I know, after that day my life would be forever changed. They say, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." I believe this to be true because God truly had bigger and better plans for me than I had for myself. Deven entered my life like a wrecking ball and although I had no idea at the time, he would create the most beautiful chaos that I have ever seen. He is the catalyst that changed the trajectory of my entire life, in all of the best ways possible. Deven is the definition of, "If he wanted to, he would." He is a man of action and a man of his word. He has shown me and our son real, genuine love in its purest form and this is the love of God. From the time we first met until now, I could never have imagined our relationship blossoming in the ways that it has. I am so elated that our souls have connected in this lifetime, and I am looking forward to this next chapter of our lives together, in this lifetime and the next.

Deven's POV:

I'll never forget the day I first met Starr, at a cookout. She was wearing this vibrant sundress that flowed so beautifully, catching the sunlight and making her glow. I had no idea that meeting her, that day, would change my life in so many ways. For a while, I kind of accepted the fact that I might never see her again but the moment I laid eyes on her again, it hit me. I had this overwhelming rush of love that I couldn't explain. To my surprise, fate had a bigger plan. Starr began working at my job.

As we spent more time together, we began hanging out outside of work and connecting on deeper levels, sharing laughs and dreams. We definitely had our ups and downs, facing challenges that tested us but through it all, we learned, grew and figured things out together, as a team. Despite all of the chaos and unpredictability, I'd choose to relive every single moment with her again. Each experience, whether good or bad, shaped our connection into something pretty extraordinary.
